Decorating with Mirrors to Trick the Eye

Interior Designers use mirrors to trick the eye. They can make a small room look big.

One of my favorite things is that mirrors can double the natural light coming in from a window, therefore making the room brighter. This can be accomplished with oversized mirrors such as wall-to-wall or floor-to-ceiling mirrors.

I have found a great collection of photos to share how these oversized mirrors can make a difference. The first picture is from fashion designer Adrienne Vittadini’s home. The wall of mirrors brightens the whole room. I especially love how she added a decorative gold mirror on top of the floor to ceiling mirrors.Panels of Mirrors
